I keep making mistakes. I hope I learn from them. I hope I’ll keep making them until I die. They mean I’m out there doing something.
Now that I’ve left Ireland, I can talk about the two things that I probably should have expected to cause me trouble, but never really thought about. In the face of worrying about currencies, units of length, units of temperature, and other things, these things got lost in the shuffle. I see nothing about this “etiquette” on Wikitravel. And they’re arguably the most important things.
